Pick 'n Pay problems again
I went to Hemingways Pick 'n Pay on 9/02/2018 and they had a special on for All Bran Flakes 1 kg @ R 49.99. The branch didn't have any stock so I asked for a raincheck. They said they can't give me a raincheck the first week of the special. I got home and checked the terms & conditions regarding raincheck, no mention of rainchecks that can't be given in the first week of a special. I then contacted PnP via email (on the Pick 'n Pay site - the Hemingways branch )on 10/02/2018. I told them of my problem and mentioned that I'm only able to get to the shops every 2 weeks therefor the next time I can go shopping the special will be over (special is until 18/02 and I can only get to the shops on the 23rd again). Today (17/02) I still haven't received a reply from Pick 'n Pay regarding my hassle with the Hemingways branch. Tomorrow the special ends so now I lost out. Very unhappy with Hemingways branch's service

19 Feb 2018, 13:54I have been contacted by the manager and he said that he has spoken to his staff and also that I could come and collect a raincheck even though the special ended yesterday (18/02). So unfortunate that staff make up their own rules and then supervisors and managers have to apologise even though they weren't in the wrong. Thank you for your response
