Pick n Pay Princess Crossing endangering customers due to no hand sanitisers.
Worse Pick n Pay store my family and I have ever visited. We visited the store on Monday. Firstly, we got to the entrance for the trolley. We then went to sanitise our hands but there was not even a drop of sanitiser in the dispenser.I then asked one of the staff if they were going to refill and she looked confused. Then she said we can use the wipes for our hands. I was dumstruck. I mean really, is this how pick n pay take precautions to protect our people? I am very disappointed and disgusted by this. Staff don't care if you ask for assistance or they have no urgency. They would rather scream and talk and laugh. They are unfriendly and look miserable. During this time of the Corona virus, we are supposed to be protected in your stores since pick n pay is who we visit the most.
Secondly, the shelves didn't accommodate for the goods we needed. The store looked untidy, dark and not welcoming at all. We finally just picked up a few things we got our hands on and went to pay.
Thirdly, While we were waiting to cash, a lady in front of us was moaning about how they over charging her for toilet paper but she didn't want to wait for a refund and she left. We then started cashing for our stuff and we were being overcharged as well. I stopped the cashier and told her to rectify the price which she did.I feel people are being ****** in a time of panic. Do you guys have no shame? How many other people just turn a blind eye because they trust pick n pay? At a time like this, people are going to be taking a financial hit and we are being ******. It's not the first time I experienced this in this particular store. I am a very upset, disgusted, disappointed customer.
