Pick n Pay Phoenix Staff - Pathetic

My family and I went shopping to PNP store in Phoenix on Saturday 24-06 at 6.30pm.

My 11 year old son took a trolley from the car park area and walked towards the store, there was a line too enter the store so my husband and 6 year old stood aside whilst my 11 year old and myself went to see how long the line was. An employee by the name of Logan came up to my husband who had my 6 year old who was holding the trolley. He just grabbed the trolley from my 6 year old and another shopper and started screaming at them that there was no big trolleys allowed inside the store. We were not informed that there were no trolleys allowed inside the store and kids being kids, my 11 year old pushed the trolley from the car park.

My husband got upset for the employee Logan just grabbing the trolley from my 6 year old and the way Logan had spoken to him. In the argument my husband did say he would slap the guy if he didn’t stop his attitude (but he did not do so). Logan then told my husband to wait there he was going to get someone for him.

Logan then brought a reaction officer who basically walked us out of the shopping center not hearing to what had actually happened. I am a relatively calm person and tried to explain to the reaction officer what had happened – but he did not want to listen to me and just sided with the PNP employee.

When I told the employee Logan that I would come back in the morning to report his pathethic behaviour he told me i can come but he is the manager of the store...does managers behave in this manner with customers?

I have been shopping at PNP for years and not just your Phoenix branch – but the that employee at Phoenix really needs traning on how to treat people and how to carry themselves especialy around kids....managers like that is an embarrassment to human kind.
