Pick n Pay Pharmacy sold us an expired medication

Pick n Pay Pharmacy Little Falls in Rooderpoort, Johannesburg sold us an expired prescription medication for our 4 year old daughter. After reporting the matter to the Pharmasist in charge, he took it upon himself to apologize and rest assured us that he will take this matter serious. He asked us to provide all the GPs consultantion proofs as my daughter felt sick and caught an infection while taking that almost 5 months expired medication. I was informed a regional manager will call me and arrange a refund for our cost incurred. All I got was that, an expired medication is not harmful but less effective. I even wrote to Pick n Pay social media pages to express how unhappy am i and I was told - only when I remind them that the matter is still under investigation. It's now close to 8 months, I haven't heard from Pick n Pay. I am very unhappy about how this reputable retail store deals with its complains. I have decided not use thier Pharmacy anymore. Please be warned.
