PICK N PAY PAVILLION SOLD ME ROTTEN CHEESE ROLL WHICH I ALMOST ATE AT 6 MONTHS OF PREGNANCY 😡
On Saturday the 23rd I did my Grocery at Pick n Pay Pavillion,since I was hungry I decided to buy a roll the one with Ham, Cheese , Tomato and Lettuce. Paid and left the mall, when I got home first thing I did I took out the roll wanting to eat since I'm 6 months pregnant when I want to eat, I want to eat 😩 little did I know that the roll was rotten I mean the roll itself was green underneath not to mention the smell I got when I opened it ðŸ˜ðŸ˜¡ Straight away we drove back to Pavillion and I asked for the Manager the first guy I spoke to didn't even know what to say and called for Senior Manager she also came and saw the roll also didn't know what to say and decided to refund me which they did but the questions I had was I went home already and had to drive back which was not part of my plan secondly, I'm pregnant what if I ate that roll and contracted food poisoning. Besides no one should be sold rotten food 😒 that made me question their Health and Safety systems, are we even safe. What frustrate me the most is the fact that I was told that the store Manager will be in today and will call me before 10 but nobody called me till now @Pick n Pay is this the kind of service you provide to your customers??????
Secondly, I did not take a photo but I kept my receipt and i'm sure your store camera's are able to show you everything.
I returned your rotten food since there was nothing I could do about it at my expense having to return back from home to Pavillion with my swollen feet since i'm pregnant and back home again.
They did refund me but Pick n Pay show no remorse whatsoever for what happened and the risk they posed to me and my unborn baby.
The Manager and Senior Manager on duty that day didn't tell me about all the details you have mentioned above. The product was written sell by date, 24/03/2024 I was at the shop on the 23rd.
I hope you investigate this further, i'm just thinking about other people that bought similar food that day!
My details were taken down and I am still awaiting to hear from the shop as I reported my case there and had all the proof that was needed.
