Pick 'n Pay online shopping a waste of time

i last placed an online order with Pick n Pay years ago when on maternity leave and had a similar poor experience. I expected that over years of learning and with the amount of competition, the service would have improved. Being immobile with a broken leg, I tried again on 2 May.

My order was delivered on 3 May with a) Milk, b) Bread and c) Bananas out of stock, despite having selected the option to have suitable substitutes delivered. Not only this, but today, I opened one of four 1l bottles of cream which weredelivered and found they had a Use By date of 25 April.

With an R80 delivery charge, and I am still required to somehow get out and grocery shop for staples, I find this service disgusting and unacceptable. I expect the "out of stock" items I ordered to be delivered and the expired cream to be collected and replaced with a respectable use by date of at least a few days in the future.
