PICK N PAY: NO RESPONSE FROM CUSTOMER SERVICES DEPT

To whom it may concern: After months of waiting for feedback from Pick n Pay Customer care regarding an incident that occurred in May 2020, I have come to the conclusion that their incompetence has attained new heights.

After numerous emails and automated responses, I was assured that I would be contacted. To date, my problem has not been satisfactorily solved. It appears that top brass within the customer care offices are either not interested in bringing my grievances to light or are blatantly covering up for the mismanagement of the PHOENIX ACROPOLIS BRANCH IN DURBAN. This is my third review on hello-peter directed at pick n pay regarding this specific incident. I am appalled that a company that claims to be customer- service orientated clearly shoves grievances under the rug when it suits them.

The reputation that Raymond Ackerman laid for the franchise has clearly been brought into disrepute by a customer service department that does not take any customer grievances seriously.

In a COVID- 19 PANDEMIC, it is ******* to not wear a face mask. ABOVE AND BEYOND THE PATHETIC SERVICE I RECEIVED IN MAY 2020, IT WAS SPECIFICALLY MENTIONED THAT THE MANAGEMENT AT THE FAMILY STORE FLIPPENTLY DID NOT WEAR A MASK WHEN ADDRESSING THE SITUATION THAT OCCURRED.

PICK N PAY HAS FAILED TO TAKE THE NECESSARY STEPS OF ENSURING THAT A FAMILY STORE, WHICH IS INDIVIDUALLY OWNED IN PHOENIX ACROPOLIS MALL DURBAN, IS DEALT WITH DESPITE NUMEROUS COMPLAINTS FROM MYSELF.

I HAVE HAD MY TIME WASTED AND THE CUSTOMER SERVICE RECEIVED IS AN EMBARRASSMENT TO THE RETAIL INDUSTRY.

AS USUAL, I DO NOT EXPECT TO RECEIVE ANY FEEBACK FOR MY COMPLAINT HAS PICK N PAY IS MOTE INTERESTED IN MAKING PROFITS AT HE EXPENSE OF CUSTOMER SATISFACTION.
