PICK N PAY MONAGENG MARKET COMPLAINT

Good day,

This is a complaint against Pick n Pay Monageng Market situated at the Zone 3, Diepkloof shops.

On the 10th January 2020 I sent my brother to go withdraw R200 and then buy a cold drink for R20 from that R200. The expectation was to get a residual of R180. To my surprise we were told that my aunt has a debt that she has made and that I will be liable for her debt. I did not understand the reason for that, so I went to the shop to confront the situation. The manager advised me that my aunt made a purchase of electricity for R30 but R80 worth of electricity was given to her erroneously. She further advised that only R130 will be given to us and I can "If Iwant" claim the money from my aunt.

The manager was very rude to me and said I should go to the police station and come with the cops if I want my money back. I asked for a reversal of the transaction and only R150 was given to me from the R200 that I withdrew. I also went to the policestation to ask for assistance but no one was available to assist me
