Pick 'n Pay moldy frozen waffles

I bought Pick 'n Pay's own brand of frozen traditional waffles a few weeks ago. It went straight into my freezer when I got home. When we recently opened it, we found mold spots on ALL the waffles. The expiry date is February 2025. I don't have my receipt anymore, but I have the product. We used one in the toaster to test it out. What is the next step to get a refund?

Thanks Pick 'n Pay for the reply. Please note - BEFORE I posted this complaint on HelloPeter I ALREADY sent an email to the Customer Care email address, and merely got a reply that it's been received and being reviewed.

Then.... please note that I said in my post/complaint that I DON'T have the till slip anymore. I don't believe that is needed anymore, since the product is CLEARLY a Pick 'n Pay product (house brand) and the expiry date is still in the future - 02/2025. If the absence of a till slip is a problem in this particular case, then I believe it's a case for another organization to investigate. However, I'll send the long list of requirements in your reply to me on this site.

Question - does your Customer Services dept have a turn-around time in which they resolve issues?

Thank you for the reply. The pictures and information will be sent to the email address supp****. However, the email that I received this morning said " Your call with reference *** moldy frozen waffles has been completed." I won't be answering any phone calls because I prefer that our communication is written down for future reference.

Regarding your latest reply on this. The "resolve" refered to above resulted in a letter telling me the following: "Please note that we will SMS a digital voucher to your cellphone/points to the value of R ZERO RAND AND ZERO CENTS as a gesture of goodwill and is redeemable at any Pick n Pay store." I'm assuming this is because I didn't answer the phone when they called - I prefer to do this via emails... and because I didn't send the additional proof yet. I sent all the information through yesterday. Patiently waiting on a reply, otherwise I'll simply open a new request/complaint.
I appreciate the fact that they were on this very quickly, but this has not been resolved to show the client "goodwill".
