Pick n Pay Misadvertising

I have been a loyal customer of Pick n Pay for decades . Recently I got to know a about their misadvertising strategy . They advertised 2 flash drives for R 99 . The fine print did say when it's gone it's gone . But that's not the issue and is understandable that the product is only available whilst stock lasts . However I went to five stores for the product. What was most shocking is that in 3 out of the 5 stores I was told that the advertised product did not reach their store . My question is why send people on a wild goose chase .
