Pick 'n Pay Meadowlands service failure
I cannot believe I am here for Pick N Pay.
But Oh well this is how it goes: today around 17:00, I went to Pick N Pay Meadowlands with the aim of withdrawing money, got by the entrance and the volunteers there stopped me for hand sanitizer, I told the guy nicely that I am using my own sanitizer (had it with me and even used it in front of them) they started to cause a scene there where I was told I need to use theirs, I told the guy that I just sanitized my hands in your presence though, they all came towards me and even called the security guard not to allow me inside. When I tried explaining to the guy the reason I am using my own sanitizer he was not interested in hearing what I have to say, the other volunteer kept making noise screaming to a point the security guard asked him to leave me alone. When he was calm I tried again to even show him my sanitizer and tell him why I want to use mine, I was then told that He is not interested and that I can go if I do not want to use their hand sanitizer. When I chose to leave the guys followed me telling me "vele hamba".
I understand that I am young and need to respect elders However as a customer of Pick N Pay I expect a better service than this, I fail to understand the fuss of a hand sanitizer, as much as they do not trust mine, how do they expect me to trust theirs? I've been to different shops where I am allowed to use my own, but definitely not Meadowpoint. This is pure disrespect to customers.
It is not the first time those guys act this way, the first time I went to that Pick N Pay was with my mom who is a pensioner and was advised by the other guy where to go but the other guys decided to stop her shouting, can this be addressed with the management, I understand it is Soweto but we cannot tolerate such disrespect as customers.
