Pick n pay manager shows no interest
My husband and I were paying for our goods at the kiosk when we asked for four R110 vodacom vouchers. There seemed to be some printing error as only one voucher printed out, the other came out so badly damaged that the pin was unreadable, and the last two just didn't print. We waited for the cashier to come up with a solution but after she consulted with three other cashiers she ended up telling us that we had to call customer service and they will provide the pin to the damaged voucher and then she will find out what to do about the vouchers that did not print out. Since she was not 100% sure of how to deal with this issue I assumed this could be an unnecessary lengthy process. My husband confronted the manager with the problem looking for a quicker solution. The manager refused to help us personally and told us there was no better solution and we would have to wait irrespective of how long this process might take. When we asked to be refunded he told us vouchers cannot be refunded. My husband told the manager this was unacceptable where the manager just shrugged his shoulders and walked away. After 45 minutes a different manager sorted the issue out in seconds.
