Pick 'n Pay Malvern - Poor service
Im am absolutley appalled by the poor quality of service I've been getting at Pick 'n Pay Malvern.
The first incident I'll mention here happened 3 weeks back; I was shopping and there was a lady working at the KIOSK (referred to by her colleagues as "Thobza" or "Thobz") who did not even bother to greet me, didn't ask if I would like a packet (I had to ask her to give me a packet after she was done scanning my 4 items and just looking at me) and had very rude responses. I spoke to the manager (Marcus Moodley) who seemed very uninterested in my complaint and **** saying that Pick 'n Pay does not give feedback about how far complaints go, I know he **** because I had once complained to the customer service head (Linidiwe Zulu) who gave me feedback about my complaint in a timely manner. Left that day a very disappointed customer.
The Second incident was only yesterday! My brother had used my card to make some purchases and a withdrawal at Pick 'n Pay. He purchased the goods and the money left my account (R 470). My brother was then informed by the cashier that the system went offline and the money was going to return to my account, meaning that they could not give him the goods he purchased and the money he withdrew. They ( the cashier and my brother) waited for the money to return, to only be told by the manager (Vijay Haripasad*) that the money will return after 2-3 days. They told him this after he waited for the money for 1½ hours ( having to organize an Uber to pick up his child). The store did not want to reimburse my brother for the costs incurred during the 1½ long wait. **The manager (Vijay) was also very unproffessional, ***********, unsympathetic and lacked managerial skills; my brother came across this during the arguements they had (which my brother recorded).
Today!!! I brought some sweets which were on special, but the scanning maching did not pick up the discount on the sweets. My nephew and I realised this when looking at the till slip in the car. We went straight back and were not let inside as it was past 7 o'clock ( the time was 19:13). The manager (Marcus Moodley) told us to comeback and sort out the matter tomorrow as all the tills were closed, I would not have gone so late for something that wasn't important!!
So right now Pick 'n Pay Malvern owes me R470 PLUS the difference between the money I paid and the discount on the sweets. I'm beyond disappointed. Pick 'n Pay Malvern have lost a very loyal customer of 17 years.
