Pick n Pay Liquor Morning Glen Mall not willing to give deposit when returning empty quart bottles/crates

I would like to highlight the nonsense that is happening at the Pick n Pay liquor store at the Morning Glen mall in Rivonia.

I arrived yesterday with 4 x crates of empty 750ml quart bottle that I intended to return to the store for the deposit value.

The staff informed me that I would only be able to return the bottles and get my deposit if I purchased one quart for every empty quart that I returned.

This is completely unacceptable, I wasted my time and money coming to the store only to have to go elsewhere because of this rule that the store made up.

I hope that Pick n Pay as a group addresses this discrepancy, I will not be using this store again unless they remove this stupid policy
