Pick n Pay Liquor asking for my 1 year old face mask before we can enter!

On Saturday 9/4/22 around 14:45 Pick n Pay at The Crossing in Mafikeng was very busy with each till having at least 6 - 8 customers in the queue. We only wanted to buy soda cooldrink as they are om a very good easter special.... we decided to rather try the Pick n Lay Liquor next door as the queue was better. I walked in first, being sanitised by the security guard. My husband followed me. Holding our 1year old daughter. Husband gets sanitised. The security guy then memtioned where is the babies mask, cause she is putting him at risk...... my husband tried to explain she is under aged and not obligated to wear a mask. Whilst in the arguement, my husband asked to speak to the manager. I got involved saying as a pharmacist I work in the healthcare sector and I know all the current laws. It is not expected fpr children under the age of 6 to wear a mask in-doors. Whilst waiting for the manager, I said we will not shop there because of the attitude of that security guy om duty. Eventually he said its OK we can go in.... well I stood by my decicion NOT to continue mt shopping there. As we stay far from town, we buy in bulk. We continued our way to Woolworths food. The manager came running after us trying to apologise and that we can go shop there (whilst his mask was off) I know it was outside and now not compulsary to wear. But we were at a close distance from each other. I said no sorry I will rather to my shopping at Woolies. Even if it will cost me more. There I get treated with respect!
