Pick 'n Pay lack of Customer care/service
While shopping at Pick 'n Pay The Falls in Wilgeheuwel, I noticed that the R10 saving when buying two cheesy stuffed potato trays did not get deducted at the till point. After pointing this out to a store supervisor, I had to queue at another customer service point and go through a process to be refunded the R10. I understand that this can happen, however, lately I have found that several Pick 'n Pay branches have different price points at the till compared to on-shelf/promotional prices and I have now got into the habit of checking all prices on Pick 'n Pay till slips.
When I got home and unpacked my groceries I noticed that I only had one of the two Shower to Shower roll on deodorants that I bought in order to save R11 by buying two of the same.
I immediately tried to contact the store to ask them to check if the one roll on had accidentally stayed behind at the till point as it did reflect on my till slip. The store did not answer the call and I then proceeded to look for the customer service centre number for Pick 'n Pay. The number provided on internet search did not exist any longer ***) and I then managed to contact a very helpful person named Edwill on the Smart Shopper line. Edwill took details of my complaint and after contacting the store, he called me again to inform me that the Store Manager would contact me. My call reference number is *** , dated 2 September 2021 and up to today I have still not received a call from any employee of the store and I am sadly still missing the second roll on deodorant that I bought.
