Pick 'n Pay Knysna.
About a year ago my family bought sugar and took it back to their local pick 'n pay (Knysna). They showed them that it was yellow and was smelling, as if something urinated over it. It was replaced. I was visiting them recently and went to the same pick 'n pay with my family. the one day I asked a manager if cashiers had cash to withdraw and he asked the cashiers first and then told me where. The next time I went and asked another manage whom was there if they had cash and he said they should have and when I got to the till the cashier had to ask another cashier for extra money (one can see the difference in management style). with the latter manager we also mentioned that we just saw a mouse running under one of the pellets of food that was stacked to be unpacked and he asked me where the mouse went now...not seeming to care. Should it not be something which should be dealt with in a proper manner (taking the first instance and this instance). I know Knysna has many trees, etc. (but so does JHB). this is food and ultimately people's health. Some people are allowed to take their dogs in at times. I know this is the only pick 'n pay in Knysna, yet I think issues like this should be better dealt with. 3 stars because kudos to the one manager and 2 missing because of the latter problem and response of the second manager.
