Pick n pay Kilburn - We DON'T care

Pick 'n Pay Kilburn, Discovery, Roodepoort Let me start off by saying that as a family convenient store in our local area, being a 1 minute drive, 10 minute walk (uphill road) from home it is only obvious that we have been doing our daily shopping (bread, milk, etc.) from Pick n Pay Kilburn for 18 years. Well it was a Spar before but the owner/s are the same. The main problem with the store ***ner/s and staff) is customer service or the lack there-of. THEY DON'T PROVIDE ANY CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Neither staff nor management nor owner/s is interested in it. They brush it off because they doing the community a favor by being open for business. Due to the lack of enthusiasm the cashiers are more interested in NOT helping because their employer/s also lack the very same enthusiasm. I have personally argued with the cashier every other time when I visited the store. Their policies and procedures alternate daily. When one is persistent for decent customer services, it is done with a HUGE frown and whole lot of attitude. To the owner and management, losing 1 (actually 6) customers will have no effect on them. For the past 18 years, the owner/s has not once given a sign of recognition of continued support and loyalty to their store to their regular/daily customers. I suggest that Pick n Pay Head Office train the owner/s and staff at Pick n Pay Kilburn. Training should include: 1. Greet the customer; 2. Smile with mouth and eyes 3. Supervisors and Management to treat customers with respect and not being nuisance; 4. Acknowledge the regulars I am personally not shopping at Pick n Pay Kilburn store again, will rather get in my car and drive to Checkers Horizon +-15 minutes away where I don't argue with staff and they actually do greet.
