Pick n Pay is a Glorified Green Grocer. Don't trust them for Electronic Sales. You will be bitterly disappointed!

Pick n Pay is a Grocery Store. It is not, in any way a Wallmart. It simply does not have the capacity to be selling Electronics and Furniture. I had the absense of judgement to buy a 65" Television set on 11 December, being told that the distributor, Hi Sense would replace the set within 30 days if something happened and honor a 4 year warranty on the product. By 11 January all r HDMI ports blew on that TV. Needless to say I had to carry the thing in expecting it to be replaced, only to be told by the divisions Manager at Pick n Pay Norwood that the Customer could not be trusted and that I would have to wait for a week or longer while Hi Sense technicians came out to inspect the product and determine whether it should be replaced. When challenged with the CPA the Manager said that its general custom and practice in the company to only give 14 days replacement surety. 14 Days was Christmas Day. Pick n Pay was closed! There's a reason Pick n Pay manage to sell cheaply. They strip the product of any sense of Customer Service. If you want a polony at discount....buy it from Pick n Pay that buy 1000's and sell them cheaply. Don't buy anything valuable that demands quality service!
