Pick n pay implements its own draconian lockdown policies

Pick n pay has decided to implement its own draconian policies at Cavendish, by prohibiting children to enter the shop. I was instructed to leave my 2 & 3 year old child (all of us with face masks) at the entrance with security while I go shopping inside. My wife was with me so she could have stayed with the children, but there were already 2 other children (unaccompanied minors) without parents at the entrance. Does pick n pay now have the legal protecting and permission to perform child minding services? What purpose does prohibition children to be with parents while shopping serve? I left pick n pay and was welcomed into woolworths with my children no hassle. The only reason I can think pick n pay is doing this is to limit "unnecessary" people in the shop to permit more paying customers. This is unacceptable and a violation of the rights of a minor and my constitutional rights as a parent.
