Pick n Pay Hyper Montana

Montana Pick n Pay Hyper - Bad service and false advertising I went to buy a Janome sewing machine. There were 2 different models on display with only one price and since both models had mostly the same features I liked the purple one more. Next to it there were two different electronic models displayed, also with only one price. At the till I reallised that the sewing machine is nearly R1000 more than the price displayed on the shelve and I asked to speak to a supervisor or manager. Sarah went with me to the shelve and explained that I cannot presume the price is correct even if it is the only one on display. A gentleman also came to speak to me and said the machine was on special until the previous day and they had not yet printed and displayed the correct price. When asked how the "correct" price was rang up at the till, he said it was loaded by headoffice during the night. I feel, since they neglected to display the correct price I was prepared to pay the displayed price of R2499 and not R3299. As a courtesy, and because of their negligence they could even have offered me the machine at the previous day's discounted price. They have refunded me the amount of R3299. I would still like to buy the machine, but at a reasonable price. Susan
