Pick n pay have just lost a customer for life.
I went to Pick n Pay in Hutten Heights Newcastle where go to daily . I requested 2 packets of Camal Double Activate. The cashier gave me 2 packs of Camel Activate . The packets looks almost identical.
I opened the 1 packet and took it back to the store to exchange it with my receipt a few minutes later. I understand that perhaps they could not exchange the open pack. But the sealed pack is unacceptable. The supervisor and the manager refuse to exchange it as it is against there policy.
I contacted customer care who told me the same thing.
The cashier argues with me that I told him I wanted activate.Their policy is also nowhere visible to customers.I left the cigarettes and left the store.
Pick n Pay has a policy that " keeping the customers happy is our top prior " that statement could not be more further from the truth.
I spent at least between R8000 to R 10 000 per month at Pick n Pay and have always been loyal to the brand. You've just lost a customer for life for less than R100 .00 as your stupid policies are clearly your top priority.
