Pick 'n Pay have do not value its customers.

I am a frequent shopper at Pick n Pay in Hatfield and on the afternoon of 12 September 2017, i went into the shop to buy a few things. I stood in the express till queue and was shocked to see a customer being allowed to pay for items at least more than 18. When i asked the till operator why this was happening, she pointed out that the customer would complain to management if she did not allow him to pay. And Management normally reminds her that the customer is always right and she must let them pay there even if it is an express till. One other fellow customer and myself demanded to see the manager of the branch who took too long to come to us because apparently, the message had got to her why we would like to see her. Eventually we had to walk to her office to ask he to come and explain why this unfair practice was happening, Nkele, the Manager pointed plainly refused to give us an audience and said that she did not know what were talking about, that the till operator was busy and she could not state here side of the story and were dismissed without any other suggestion of intervention or anything. I implore Pick n Pay to train their managers to be able to deal with such situations as well as being able to be fair to all customers. We all are loyal to Pick n Pay and why shouldnt Pick n Pay be loyal to us? I have emailed this complaint to the customer care branch at Pick n Pay and they have chosen to ignore it. I am sure this is not the only complain that has been disregarded.
