Pick n Pay Fresh Cream or is it?

I bought 500ml of Pick n Pay branded fresh cream. It was a very white, thin liquid,(proper fresh cream should be a thickish, off white colour) and of course it took 20 minutes of beating to get it to a slightly thicker consistency but it never got to a proper whipped cream consistency. What a below substandard product!
