Pick n pay ********** activities

Went to pick n pay family at brackenfell on 19/02/2023. Made payment and their card reader had a delay after receiving notification that the payment was successful. Pick n pay then printed a declined for payment receipt even though my payment was made. When I asked about it they fetched a "manager" who I found out by getting a call from pick n pay that is not even the manager of the branch. The so called manager stated that oh well it happens to clients where payment is taken and then the store declines the slip and that I must wait for my money to come back as it is my problem due to no fault of theirs. When I asked for proof that my funds will be returned I was explicitly told well we can't give you any proof or confirmation you just have to take our word and leave. I escalated to their complaints team to be told I will be contacted by the actual manager of the store. I got the call before 8am and all the manager said was that well he is sorry but it is my problem. To date I have still not received my money back and not even a valid apology. My apology consisted of and I quote "it is not our problem it is yours."
