Pick n Pay Flora Centre - Shocking Customer Service

Recently Pick n Pay had a Christmas Bonus Stamps Promotion and after collecting 20 tickets, you were able to redeem them for a R100 discount.

I had been collecting weekly and had collected 17 at the point of this incident. On the 16th of November I did my shopping as usual at Pick n Pay Flora Centre and was due 12 stickers, however was told that there were none left. They asked me to write my number down in a book and I could come back the following week and collect my outstanding stickers. On return, I was then told that they still didn't have any and that I should return once again during the following week.

This time when I returned, I was told that no more stickers were being received and that I could not even redeem my discount, even though I was due 12 stickers and I already had 17. I first spoke to the teller, then the supervisor and finally the manager and all of them couldn't be bothered about sorting out the problem.

This was more about the principle than the actual R100 discount. Pick n Pay are a service provider which should include customer care, and I received none of that. Also, Pick n Pay *****ed up by not having enough stickers for the duration of the promotion, and they made this my problem. Absolutely ridiculous.
