PICK N PAY FESTIVAL MALL

Pick n Pay Customer Service Kiosk - Aramex Drop Off,

I am writing to lodge a formal complaint regarding an ongoing issue at your Pick n Pay Festival Mall related to the theft of Aramex courier parcels at the kiosk where Aramex packages are collected. It has been noted that the cashier responsible for handling Aramex courier parcels has been repeatedly *****ing packages from the courier collection box. When the Aramex courier arrives for collections, the parcels are mysteriously missing, and no one can account for their whereabouts.

This is not an isolated incident, this has been a consistent experience of theft on multiple occasions, which has significantly disruptive and caused a loss of trust in the service Pick n Pay at Festival Mall) provides. Aramex has been unable to access security footage from the store, and this lack of accountability is deeply damaging to their reputation as well as to the businesses that rely on their services.

as a loyal client of Aramex and who depends on Aramex to deliver my packages to people affordably, this situation is deeply concerning. The theft not only causes financial loss but also undermines the growth and development of young entrepreneurs who also uses these services who are trying to build their businesses in an already challenging environment.

Pick n Pay’s failure to address this issue is a clear disservice to both your customers and the courier service providers, and it is having a detrimental effect on the local community. The behavior of your staff involved in this theft is appalling and unprofessional, and it is unacceptable that this continues to happen without any resolution or corrective action.

I request that you take immediate and decisive action to investigate this matter thoroughly, hold those responsible accountable, and implement measures to prevent further incidents. It is crucial that you restore trust in your store's ability to securely handle courier collections, particularly for businesses like ours that rely on your service to thrive.

Hope that Pick n Pay will take the necessary steps to rectify this situation promptly.

However, I'd warn people to rather not use these services at the Pick n Pay Festival Mall, rather use other Pick n Pays that are more trustworthy.

Reviewer Update
This is to express my deep concern and frustration regarding the ongoing issue with my missing package and the lack of response from both Pick n Pay Festival Mall. Aramex has done they due diligence and confirmed that package was not available for collection even though it was dropped off.
It has been several days since I last inquired about the status of my parcel, which was dropped off at the Pick n Pay Festival Mall Kiosk on November 3, 2024, at 14:00. Unfortunately, despite my repeated attempts to resolve this matter, I have received no update or communication from your team. This lack of response is highly disappointing and unprofessional.
The package, valued at R1,200, was entrusted to your cashier, Plezi Khoza. However, I am deeply concerned as there have been prior reports of packages going missing from this location, with allegations of theft by the staff. To add to my frustration, Aramex courier services were unable to collect the parcel, as it mysteriously disappeared from the Aramex drop-off box, which was not locked at the time.
Given these circumstances, it appears that there is a significant issue with the security and handling of packages at the Pick n Pay Festival Mall Kiosk. Customers are at risk of losing valuable items, yet no action has been taken to address the situation or provide adequate security measures. The fact that Pick n Pay has not yet addressed or acknowledged this serious matter is deeply concerning.
I urgently request a thorough investigation into the disappearance of my parcel and a clear explanation as to how this situation will be rectified. I expect to receive a prompt response, as well as an update on the steps being taken to prevent such incidents in the future.
