Pick n Pay Family Plumstead Western Cape:-(

On Sunday 20 Nov 2022 I payed a visit to Pick n Pay Family Plumstead Western Cape. On arrival I went straight to the Confectionery Dept. I observed an employee sweeping at the back & started looking at the cakes available on offer. I took about 5-6min doing so as I was with my 9 year old daughter who was indecisive & also made contact with my wife at home via cellphone. I became aware that I'm not being attended to & there's a queue forming right next to me & decided to join. Upon reaching the employee at the Meat Dept. the said lady(employee) informed me that there is/was someone in that department to assist. I responded by saying there was no one & looked the other way & noticed the very same lady I saw sweeping attending to a male customer. I felt some type of way & walked over to where I was originally from. My daughter told me "they going to finish the cake" as it was after 5 o'clock & it seemed as if the establishment was making ready to close. Long story short...I was so embarrassed infront of customers & employees of the said PnP that I required assistance from the manager & I was denied such from the said(Lady Sweeping,Confectionery Dept) & had to make my own way acquiring such. Upon the Floor Manager trying to diffuse the situation the said employee refused "point-blank" that she won't apologize for her actions. Another Manager(name I won't divulge at this stage) Cama & requested we go to the office & discuss the matter. I was assured the situation will be attended to speedily & feedback is guaranteed. Until now I have received a call from some person(male) from PnP, not even sure from which branch ad I took the call but informed the said I can't take the call as I'm driving & requested a call on the following day. Until date nothing has come from this establishment. I am utterly disgusted & disappointed at the behavior & treatment of the Pick n Pay Family Plumstead Western Cape employee & "NONE RESPONSE" of management. To top it off...my 9 year old daughter is still Traumatized by this event which unfolded infront of her. I was asked by her today still(24 Nov 2022) & decided on writing this review. :-(
