Pick N Pay - false advertising

Pick n Pay had 2X2litre Canola on special, I went to purchase, I was advised that there was no stock, to which I received a rain-check. I was advised to call on Wednesday the 02nd December, when stocks will come in, I called & was advised that stock was in, I went on the 03rd December, waited at the info counter for 15 minutes, & paging the store manager to no avail! I left my contact details & walked out, when I was advised that the supplier still had no stock, I retorted then why advertise, when supplier has not delivered stock as yet, the next day, after no feed-back I called the store again, I spoke to Rishi, from the Chatsworth branch - who promised to advise as soon as stock arrived. Yesterday, the 08th December, I received a new brochure, for the same item, 2X2litre for R55.00 - I thought this was odd, as I was expecting a call from Rishi - so I called the store, and was duly advised that the suppler had an issue with this item and there was no stock!!!! Seriously, how can PnP continue advertising for stock not received, do they hope customers come in for an item, and end up buying a lot of other junk not required??? this is false advertising!!! Checkers, here I come!!!
