Pick n Pay failure to deliver on Promises

On the 28th of last month I did my monthly shopping at our local Pick n Pay in Knysna Street in George, as usual the monthly specials were missing from the shelves causing me to take up the issue with management. My issue revolved around the PNP no name canned spaghetti which was 50% less than any of the other brands on offer. The manager Errol assured me that I could pay for the product and that he would follow-up on the following Monday and get the products delivered to my house as soon as possible.

To date he has yet to contact me, although I did make contact with him on Tuesday to find out what was taking so long, his response was let me check and get back to you, nothing since!. How does PNP encourage us to be loyal to their brands and then not have any on stock on their shelves during the busiest time of the month, and then further compound the fact with extremely poor service in trying to address the matter, perhaps Checkers or Spar would appreciate my business more!

Good day Steven,
Thank you for taking the time to write to us about your concerns.
Please assist our apologies for the poor service experiences and the out of stock promise.
We are busy addressing your concerns with management.
Kind regards,
Vanitha Venketas

Please can you explain to me how this is remains unresolved, we talking about 10 tins of spaghetti here, surely if the branch that failed to have it, still don’t have it, you could source it from another branch, this has being going on for TWO FULL WEEKS now, do you really not care about your customers to that extent!
If it is not rectified by COB tomorrow I will return to the branch for a full refund and take my business somewhere else, I spend around R4000 a month with PNP, which might not be a lot to you but I’m sure your competitors will happy take it!
