Pick 'n Pay Douglasdale Traumatizing a family

On the 28th August 2022, Thursday at approximately 17:00 we went to Pick 'n Pay Douglasdale. We have been shopping there for years. As we leaving the security stops us and loudly states a few days ago my husband was in the store and he ate biltong and left the packet. I asked to see the footage. The manager on Duty asked if we aware of this incident and we said no but we are awaiting the footage. The person on the screen was not my husband and all the manage could say was sorry. The security guard didnt say a thing. We went to Dischem next door for a pregnancy test and ended up in pick n pay to get something for our son. You embarrassed us and made us feel like rogues. You traumatised my child. We where in shock that we didnt have supper not even our child as this is the first time we experienced something like this. Our son cried the whole night as he is 5 years old and yourl just accussed his father of something. It was a case of mistaken identity or where you trying to tell us that all INDIANS Look alike. You have brought us so much of anger/hurt by this incident. You didnt even care to check up on us after taking our phone number. We have been brand loyal customers. PICK N PAY is this how you treat your customers. Typing this letter my eyes fill up with tears remembering how we were treated at your shop. We wont be back. In one of our consultations we where told about this Crimen injuria is a crime under South African common law, defined to be the act of "********ly, intentionally and seriously impairing the dignity of another." This is what you have done to us...
