Pick n pay....double the difference

I am writing to you to express my extreme disappointment at the PNP Steeledale store.

I purchased the no name brand dog food which was advertised for R89.99(see attached pictures that it is even visible from behind the till points). Upon purchasing while I walked out it scanned ********** I went to Mabel and requested the double the difference and she refused saying this was only applicable to barcodes! Now I have 3 major disagreements with this;
1. How is a sign still hanging at 15h30 with the wrong price not take preceident over a barcode which is hardly visible.
2. How many people have purchased this at the incorrect price? I'm sure you could track it down via their smart shopper cards. (i will also report this to the AASA
3. If I had to walk out with a choclate that is R10, I would be prosecuted for theft, but what is happening here is theft. You have taken R10 from everyone who has purchased this product. Would I be entitled to lay a charge of theft at the SAP?

Also the staff always argue the double the difference policy. For instance the above product, the difference is R10. So you have to give me the product At the rreduced price (R89.99) so the R10 + double the difference (R10x2). The total would R10(reduced price) + R20 (double the difference) = R30. They understand the policy but on each occasion they argue it. Could you ensure the staff member at the refunds counter understands the policy.

Please also discuss this with Mabel and arrange the refund. The product is just above the total on the till slip.
