Pick 'n Pay customer service shockingly poor!!!
Good day, It is such an impossible mission to exchange an R800 Jacket at Pick 'n Pay Clothing. I bought the jacket in another town, got home and it was to big, however the jacket label is Medium but the price tag is Large. Who knows what size it actually is. Bottom line is I suppose I need a Small. In my town it is out of stock. Phoned customer care twice, AN HOUR on the phone each time! My airtime is starting to be more costly than the jacket was! Who has an hour in their busy schedule to spend on the phone listening to some tune while the assistant is as incapable of doing their job as a rock! A week ago my wife Elaine spoke to Wendy at customer service. She found a size small at one of their JHB branches in northen suburbs and was going to have it sent to my nearest branch. As of yesterday my nearest branch didn't have a clue about this and no o e know anything so I had to start the process over. Another hour on the phone and spoke to Tembeka ref no ***, she was extremely incapable, not only vague in her answers but also unwilling to assist. Trying to get rid of me by telling me she will phone me back. I insisted on being copied in her emails requesting the jacket to be sent as according to her that is their preferred internal method of communication and I totally agree, however, I have not received any email or any form of notification or communication whatsoever. I am honestly not prepared to spend another hour on the phone with Pick n Pay customer care to get a smaller size jacket. By the way, I wanted it for the current winter.... Is it so hard to send the already found smaller size to my nearest branch?! According to Wendy it would have taken 2 to 3 days! I am so aggravated and disgusted at Pick n Pay overall anyway with constant stock issues in my town (excuses of people that doesn't doe their job and blames it on head office or the favourite phraze "it wasn't on the truck" or "our store didn't get the promotional stock" excuse me, your specific branch should then not hand out the pamflets with the promotions!!!! I run a large business myself, Pick n Pay you will have to train your staff better and up your game in customer service! "We do not get or have stock" is not an acceptable answer! Also customer service that never gets back to the customer to resolve the complaint is also unacceptable!!
