Pick n Pay customer care is worth nothing
I registered for Pick n Pay smartshopper over a decade ago. I used a different number then. My smartshopper point were automatically linked to tymebank card. That tymebank card expired and new one issued. I used it as usual when I made my groceries. The card is invalid, and the old card is also invalid on pick n pay system but my card active on tyme bank. I tried and tried on WhatsApp Pick n Pay that seems to be holding my old card for OTP and lost those grocery points to a customer who lent me their card. I have lost my points I had yet my ID number is recognized by Pick n Pay system. Their app and whatsapp and website cannot update the number, cannot block the card because the OTP is always sent to the number I have stopped using ages ago. Pick n Pay customer care number seems to be useless nobody ever picks up. Why when you update contacts only option available is get OTP on the number that is no longer in use, how do you access that OTP? It doesn't make sense why they have that option on the menu anyway it is useless. Numbers get lost all the time. It is better to leave this useless business and get used to another supermarket, it is not worth the frustration. Mthatha staff was all more frustrating for the lack of advice after they even tried on WhatsApp themselves. Matyumza N
