Has any one else suffered from the acute embarrassment and shock of stepping through the security scanning beams when exiting a shop, and it goes off ?.

This has happened to my 73 year old wife on 5 occasions, each time she has had to unpack certain items purchased and produce her slip to prove her innocence, followed bye the active embarrassment of people she knows and talks to walking by looking at her like she has resorted to shoplifting.

When speaking to management, they just blame staff and say they are not scanning the items properly. Yet nothing is done about it and it still keeps happening - apparently to other people too.

I have contacted head office an left a number of messages with certain individuals in Top Management, but have had no feed back. Security Manager has given feedback to no avail. Spoken to the Shop Management to no Avail.
