PICK N PAY CONDONES GENDER BASED VIOLENCE.

Greetings Last year May 18th 2020 I was purposely injured by Pick n Pay staff member Mr Xolani Mbanjwa who hit me with pick n pay tons of trolleys then I fell and was injured Mr Mbanjwa then sweared me after the incident, I was in complete shock I just froze but other pick and pay customers who witnessed this act called him into order but he walked away. My mom followed him asking who is supervising him he responded by saying he is not being supervised by anyone he withheld that information from us we decided to leave, I later then decided to send an email to PnP customer service the store manager called me in for a meeting by then I could hardly even walk but went anyway they were apologetic and said they will pay all my medical expenses since I’ve been seeing the doctor now and again because of the injury I was informed of all the necessary documents I should submit so they can process the payment after a day or two of the meeting I recieved a call from Shawn who is the direct supervisor of the trolley guys department he pleaded I should not involve the laywers to this case simply because the matter will be more costly and strain everyone I should write an email to him as to what are my expectations “let’s resolve this matter at a ground floor level” he said. I sent an email of all the reciepts and doctors not then indicated other costs which were related to the injury e.g transport fee to and from the Dr. , my expected compensation he then responded I’m faking the injury when I call the Pick n pay store manager Chamain she’s now always occupied not being able to talk our last conversation she said they have viewed the camera’s and saw what transpired but she can’t do anything since the company is outsourced it’s not pick n pay who is fully responsible for trolley department at pick n pay it’s the movon company I’ve been sending emails to the company PnP but up until today my matter has never been resolved. Gender based violence does really exist and it’s painful if only I wasn’t wearing a pair of jeans that day the way i fell everyone would have seen how my bums are then being sweared at after the entire incidence only a heart of a steel can bare this pain deformation of character I felt it and the way pick n pay has been taking me back and forth it’s like they condoning such behaviour from their staff it’s really heartbreaking. I was advised never to take any calls from Shawn if he called I would say I’m busy please text or send an email so I have backup, we’ve been communicating via emails which I think may be useful to this case I need help please intervene 😭😭😭
