Pick n Pay Clothing The Sanctuary, Somerset West.

I shopped at Pick n Pay Clothing at The Sanctuary Store, Somerset West. I purchased a jacket for R399. A few days later I returned it to change for a bigger size. I heard the lady behind the counter, busy with my transaction, mentioned something and showed on her screen to the Floor Manager and he checked and did something on the screen. I asked her/him what is was and the Floor Manager said to me, "Nothing Mam it is all good". A few days later, I realised I don't like the jacket and took it back. I requested a refund. I paid R399 for the jacket, and they only gave me a refund of R299. I lost 25% on the jacket in not even 2 weeks time. I asked them how is it possible. The Floor Manager explained that the jacket was marked down. In other words, when I returned it the 1st time for a bigger size, it was credited for R299 in stead of R399 and a new slip was printed for R299. I did not realised what happened, because they put the slip in the bag. When I was unhappy about the refund of R299, the Floor Manager told me why didn't I asked them on the day that I changed the jacket, why am I making a scene now. I told him, I did ask but he told me everything is fine. The Floor Manager was everything but polite. How can they be so dishonest and refund you for the new price and not the price you actually paid? Surely Pick n Pay Clothing can check on the slips, I never got the original slip back.
