Pick n Pay clothing online - no resolution on items not received with online order!

I have ordered a pajama set at Pnp Clothing online. I have received only the shirt but no pants. After an initial email sent on 28 April to enquire about this error after I have received my parcel, I have still not received any resolution to this problem as the warehouse still (after almost 2 weeks of regular follow up emails ) have to account for this missing item before any action can be taken! This is absolutely ridiculous! Why should the customer wait until the warehouse can account for this item? What will happen if this item can not be found and is not accounted for?
