Pick n Pay Clothing Harvest Place Bad Service

I went to Pick n Pay Harvest Clothing on 25 October. I entered the outlet at around 17h45, the trading hours are listed as closing at 18h00. At 17h50 the door was closed. I picked 2 items and wanted to fit but the fittings rooms were locked and some occupied. I asked the cashier at the front till if I can fit , she said I am not allowed since they are closed. I argued that they closed while I was in the store and did not understand why I couldn't fit, she said it was a policy. She then rang a bell, another lady named Anika came and was asked to explain to me that I cannot fit the items I intended to buy and she said yes I could not, it is a policy because of shoplifting and so forth. I then looked at the time and it was still 17h55 and I asked why they closed early because it was not 18h00 yet and Anika said they counted the number of people inside.

I have worked in retail before. I have never heard such nonsense.

Personally, I will never step foot in that store again unless it is to return the item I ended up buying to fit at home in case it does not fit
