Pick n pay clothing cresta mall
On Friday afternoon at 6:30 pm I went into pick n pay clothing in Cresta mall which turned out a nightmare experience. Before entering the shop I Googled to see the time they close and I know I had 30 mins to shop in there. I was looking for a t-shirt. At about 6:50 I came across I t-shirt that I wanted and I was looking for my size. The ladies that was standing there never bothered to ask us if we needed assistance yet they were talking about us in Zulu. Luckily my friend that was with me understood and she said let's just go. We can go to another pick n pay clothing. I still didn't catch on what was happening and asked one of the girls that was talking about us if they have my size in the specific t-shirt I was looking for and she rudely answer no ask the cashier at the till. Then my friend insisted that we leave the things she then told me that they busy talking about us saying that we are upsetting the shelves yet we were just by one t-shirt stand. Eventually I was ****ed off so I just left. If the staff wants to close the shop at 6:45 they need to close the doors at that time n not say that they are opened till 7pm. At that moment I grabbed my 8 year old niece and left the shop as we walked out she asks me if did that to us because we Indian! I never saw it that way and I felt so racially attacked at that point. It was my first and worst experience!!! Would never visit a place like that again... I hope the manager can maybe speak to the staff or change their working hours coz they clearly have a stinking attitude. I wish no one ever has to experience this..
