Pick n Pay clothing a joke

I have never been so shocked at the service I received from Pick n Pay. I normally purchase my pj from woolworths and I was gifted with a pj from Pick n Pay I was actually amazed how warm it was. After using it and put into the machine the bottoms started opening I was shocked it wasn't even a months old. I took it to Pick n Pay and explained the situation. They refused to help me stating I have used the garment and they can't not return it. I said that's strange because as the consumer act default merchandise should be taken back.

They said it does not comply with Pick n Pay clothing. I am ****ed off n next time anyone give me anything from Pick n Pay I will ask them kindly to return it as there quality and service is ridiculous.
