Pick n pay canceled special

I went to Pick n Pay hypermarket @ mall@reds. They had an awesome special running for the last week of Jan 20th all the way to Sunday the 2nd of Feb. They had lindtt Lindor 200g boxes @ R79.99. I had spotted the special and made particular note of it. I returned on the 1st of Feb to purchase a few boxes and to my surprise at the till they were charging normal price. So enquired to ask why is this as they are on special. The till lady, packer and supervisor all acted as if I was crazy because it can't. After the till packer went to "confirm" the prices all prices that were in red and the flash card were removed. I had a conversation with the supervisor and she said that they removed all the prices the previous and also had another incident. Needless to say I was disappointed and left without them. If specials get stopped in the middle of their run and customers are made to feel like they are crazy or lying. Simply leaves a bad taste because everyone acted like they didn't know the special existed!
