Pick n Pay Boksburg Towers really unhelpful and rude

Pick n Pay Boksburg Towers is really getting worse in terms of customer service. Well, I guess they don't know what it is. They have a butchery but man they don't want to cater for any requests. I requested the Buther, Mr. Carlos to cut the Chuck steak - Bone in into stewing pieces and his response was a flat NO. As per his Manager Mr. Etiene that cannot be entertained. I said I will pay the money for the chuck steak plus any charges for cutting. A small request but they cannot do it, what a shame. I had the same issue before with them and PicknPay Towers manager called me and said that they can take requests like this. So, everything remains the same and as a consumer who has been shopping from this place for than 15 years this rudeness of Butchery Staff and the Butchery Manager's firm NO has left a sour taste in my mouth. I must say this also has to do with the management/ownership change that happened recently. It's sad to see places like this really go south and to a certain extent when you look around you see a similar trend of lackluster customer service and rudeness everywhere which is now trying to brush off the econominc growth of this beautiful place.

As for me I will try my best not to set my foot in this establishment and I have many options. The big PicknPay in East Rand Mall are always happy to help with any Butchery request, guess they have a helpful Manager there. And there are more than half a dozen shops that sells the same things. So as a consumer am sorted. My only advise to PicknPay Towers, especially the Butchery department and to Etiene is to try and help people by providing a better customer service. Smile more, the world is a beautiful place to leave on :)
