Pick n Pay Blu Valley Mall - Rather call them Breadnuts :-(

I must say that I was totally blown away yesterday. We often go to our local Pick n Pay, which is the one in Blu Valley Mall in Centurion. My husband saw the nicest donuts at the bakery section and asked the bakery assistant if they were fresh. He should have asked "are they made of donut dough or bread dough".

They were the worse donuts we have ever tasted - I should actually call them "breadnuts". Dry and tasteless. A slice of bread with icing on and it was over R30 for 6 of them.

I have been trying the whole morning to contact the manager of the shop but there is no answer on the number supp****. Shocking baked goods and shocking service.

If you have left over bread dough, bake bread. Do not bake it and put icing on and sell it as donuts.
