Pick n Pay Benmore Gardens

Probably one of the most expensive Pick n Pays in Johannesburg. Used to buy most of my biltong from them. Used to cost R199 to R210 per kilo. Suddenly went up to R299 per kilo. I spoke to Manager, who was very helpful, but said Head Office made that decision. He gave me the number for the buyer. I called and left 3 messages for him. No response. I called again and got hold of him. He was not very receptive and said that is the price. I mentioned that other Pick n Pays nearby were between R199 and R220. Not interested. Many other items like bottled water, fresh veggies, fruit are so high. We have now moved all of our shopping to either Checkers or other Pick n Pays.
