Pick n Pay Bell Drive Krugersdorp

I would like to formally raise my ongoing concerns regarding the consistently poor service at PnP Bell Street. This morning, I needed to purchase a few essential items for a party my daughter is hosting today. As the store is approximately 400 metres from my home, I checked the listed trading hours online, which clearly state that the store operates from 07:00–19:00.

I arrived at 07:50, only to find the doors closed. Upon querying this with the security guard, I was informed that the store only opens at 08:00. A “junior manager” was then called, who appeared confused and referred me to a board displaying public holiday trading hours—despite today not being a public holiday. When I showed her the Google listing confirming the 07:00 opening time, she simply shrugged, said she would speak to the senior manager, and walked away, leaving me standing outside the store.

I waited until 08:00 to enter, only to discover that every single meat fridge was empty. I immediately left and drove to Checkers, where the fridges were fully stocked and the staff were helpful and professional.

Unfortunately, this is not an isolated incident. I have experienced repeated issues at this store, including green, rotting cheese and expired, sour macaroni and cheese. Each time, the manager is unavailable, I am advised to send an email, and I never receive a response.

If this is the standard of service and product quality being offered, I will no longer be supporting PnP. I believe this matter deserves urgent
