Pick n Pay ASAP Voucher Complaint
Dear Pick n Pay,
I love(d) the you....until.....
Doubtless you will read this letter, as you have at least a thousand other dissatisfied customers to ignore and also another one of those crucially important golf or pub moments to attend to. But it is honestly far more satisfying as a soon-to-be-ex customer to voice my grievances in writing than to shout them at your never-ending hold music or puppet-on-a-string Call Centre or Customer “Care-NOT-AT-ALL” Line agents. Forgive me therefore if I continue.
Please allow me to provide specific details, so that you can either pursue your professional prerogative and seek to rectify the situation – or more likely (I suspect) so that you can have some entertaining reading material as you while away the working day drinking espresso coffee on your office patio.
I received an ASAP VOUCHER on the 1st of July 2025 and since then I have been attempting to redeem my voucher. I have downloaded the new, and the old PnP Asap Application, and neither seems to be operative with a massive quantity of faults and inadequacies. I have wasted my valuable time, airtime and data to contact your Call Centre or Customer “Care-NOT-AT-ALL” Line agents with perpetual failure to assist or rather have NO CLUE! I have inundated with messages and requests the Whatsapp Number provided on the confirmation e-mail ***), but have to date not had even a “Hello” and the PnP Whatsapp has not Asap options in the menu, hence deemed utterly useless. Hence, I am sending this e-mail to every e-mail possible in the hope that someone out there has the ability to assist and to go the extra proverbial mile.
I'm beyond angry and if the proper support is not received immediately, I promise that I will go viral and this will become a PR nightmare. It mentions on your website that your unique character is driven by the values, and principles that inspired Raymond Ackerman and that those values and principles are considered sacrosanct and, despite changing times, they remain consistent. What a laugh!
It is also "strange”, but could not find Pick n Pay’s motto. Do you have one? I know that Richard Branson’s from Virgin is that they are a company that likes to take on the giants. In too many businesses, there are giants that have had things their own way. I now believe that Pick n Pay are one of those “giants” that likes things their own way and definitely succeeding in getting the customer to pay for it!
I hope I receive a call in the next 15 minutes and my problem is resolved.
Many thanks

I am still waiting for this issue to be resolved. This is truly unacceptable.
