Pick n Pay ASAP – Poor Quality, Long Delivery Times & Terrible Customer Support
I am deeply disappointed with the poor level of service from Pick n Pay ASAP. This is now my second complaint in less than two weeks, and the issues are piling up.
I placed an order at 4:00 PM, only to receive an estimated delivery time of 7:30 PM. That’s a 3.5-hour wait for a service marketed as “ASAP” — completely misleading and unacceptable.
Worse still, the customer support is extremely slow. It takes far too long to get a response to a complaint. Unlike other delivery apps, there’s no easy option to request a refund or report a poor-quality item directly in the app. This makes resolving issues unnecessarily frustrating.
On a previous order, I purchased a pineapple, intending to eat it the same day. When I cut into it, I found it was already rotten inside. I was absolutely disgusted. The fact that such poor-quality produce is being picked and packed shows a serious lack of care or quality control.
As an FNB client, I started using Pick n Pay after the partnership was announced, but I have been thoroughly disappointed. The app is difficult to use, the delivery times are too long, and the product quality and customer service are far below standard.
I have always received excellent service from Checkers Sixty60, where the app is seamless, refunds are simple, and the quality is consistently high. Pick n Pay has a long way to go to match that level of service.
I expect this complaint to be taken seriously and compensate me for the inconvenience.
