Pick n Pay ASAP is pathetic

So Pick n Pay states "Pick n Pay asap strives to get your order delivered fast and fresh in as little as 60 minutes" this is pathetic as I placed an order and showed that delivery will be between 16:30 - 17:30 from the Rosmead branch and it showed at 15:52 that they are awaiting a driver to pick up. It is currently 20:28pm and I am finishing yet another call with the call center as the number for the branch *** is not answered/working. Things were ordered I wanted to use for making supper and also breakfast things for tomorrow morning. When I called the call center after 19:00 the lady told me that she got a new driver assigned (Abdul Latief) and he will arrive shortly and gave us a cell number that is not working. When calling to the call center again as the store was about to close and no driver arrived, we were told that the order shows as "failed to collect" meaning that a driver was not available to collect the order but the app still shows "Up Next: Driver Arrives at store" so we wasted a whole afternoon making calls which are not free from our cellphones to sitting without groceries that we could receive long ago if we had ordered with Checkers or Uber. Pick n Pay stop advertising and making promises that you cannot uphold. A huge inconvenience plus airtime calling from a cellphone. I will not be using you anytime soon again.

So my order arrived the next morning just before 9am (17hours after placing the order after 15:00 the previous day), the one tray of eggs broken but by time I started opening the packs the driver left. This again caused calls to customer care, after going back and forth, emailing pictures, etc. All Pick n Pay admin team said that they will reimburse the tray of eggs money as credit which I still did not receive and can give a free delivery promo. This is what they are "allowed" to do. So a customer that had to spend above this amount on only cellular calls to the customer service and inconvenience of not getting the order. All Pick n pay wanted to give was a free delivery code which they basically send by default daily. I would not recommend anyone to use them as another issue I had regarding a kettle bought on ASAP and needing to return was never resolved by them and I had to fight in store and prove I received stock from that particular store as they do not provide receipts in order for the store to reprint, etc.
