Pick n pay ASAP dismal fail - more than 24 Hour wait for order delivery in Atteridgeville

Ordered groceries for delivery in Atteridgeville on Saturday May 10th. My account was debited and i received an email with the order confirmation at 4pm. The app said delivery status was between 5pm & 5:30pm. I was out running errands. I arrived home at 5:30pm and was told no groceries had been delivered while i was out.

After 6pm the app then said the delivery time would be between 7am&8:30am on Sunday 11 May. I received a call from the call centre at 8pm, alerting me that pick n pay nkomo village were the ones handling my order and it would be delivered by 8:30 am on Sunday 11 May. At 8:45 on sunday 11 May, no groceries had been delivered and my mom needed to use some of the items for a trip she was leaving for at 9:30am. I called the call centre @ 08:45am and explained my frustration. I then drove to the nearest pick n pay to get what my mother needed for her 9:30am departure. At 09:00am, during the same call, the agent told me my order haf been packaged and assignment to a driver and that it would leave the store shortly. I bought those few items as backup and left. At 09:40am i received an email stating that i had called about a late delivery and the issue was now handled. The groceries did not arrive by the time my mother left, which was 09:45am. At 10:40 i received another order confirmation email. No groceries had arrived when i left at 12 midday. I received a call from my helper before 4pm, updating me that the groceries had still not arrived. I called the call centre at 4:25pm and was on hold till 16:41 so i left a voicemail & immediately called pick n pay nkomo village directly. They were surprised that i had not been credited for the order since it was never delivered & there had been issues with drivers from May 10th. The lady then called back at 17:51 advising i just cancel the order and start again. I then asked why they can't just deliver the groceries first thing in the morning. It's frustrating to order groceries that are scheduled for delivery within an hour and a half, only to wait more than 24 hours.
